Territorios Digitales, the major innovation at this year's festival will be a meeting forqué digital cultures; it is the fruit of the interest that the Festival has always had in investigating different cultures and sounds. This is a new development which aims to define creative spaces for new technologies, at a time when digital leisure activities are the focus of great interest and are causing a real social revolution. Urban culture is becoming increasingly closely linked to new technology, and Territorios Digitales wants to provide a space where this new reality can be explored.

It will be held in the Reales Atarazanas, a spectacular location in the centre of Seville which is part of the city's oldest historic heritage, along with the Giralda and the Torre del Oro. In addition, Territorios Digitales will take place during the day and, in line with the Festival's philosophy, is free; its objective is to encourage meetings involving artists, industry professionals and the public.

There will be four distinct parts to Territorios Digitales. The most important, for its educational role, is the training area, which will host courses, conferences, roundtables and workshops. The meeting area will have stands for all those invited to the event, and will be the perfect location for the exchange of information at all levels. The leisure area will feature showcases by electronic artists. Finally, there will be an area for relaxation, which will also feature DJ sessions.
