TERRITORIOS
SEVILLA BREAKS ITS OWN RECORDS WITH ALMOST 40,000
ASSISTANTS
41 BANDS PLAYED THE BEST MUSIC TO TWO DAYS OF
FUN
Seville, Tuesday 21st of May, 2013.
Territorios Sevilla launched a call to the public
in this 2013 edition, making the audientce
the star of an edition that would not have
been possible without the continued support of
those attendees who, year after year, make this
musical event one of the fundamental and most
historic of the country. This sixteenth edition
was presented with a special offer, an unbeatable
season ticket, 17 euros for two days of music,
in which we've been enjoying up to 41 national
and international artists and an eclectic lineup
has banked on a festive concerts in response to
a time widespread discouragement. The final price
of the season tickets for the Festival remained
at 27 euros, which represents a 30% reduction
compared to the previous edition. Given this
situation, the public has responded emphatic,
achieving record attendance in the history
of Territorios Sevilla with nearly 40,000
people between Friday 17 and Saturday 18.
The Festival would like to thank the audience
, not only for its support, but also for the absolute
correctness with which they have behaved during
this weekend, which has made this sixteenth edition
to pass off without major incidents. To
this, the efforts of the organization has also
helped, once again, providing maximum safety
and comfort on the premises at all levels,
and leaving only a stage inside the Andalusian
Centre of Contemporary Art, for the benefit of
the traffic between the stages. We note also the
good reception from the public to the new proposal
of Territorios Sevilla, the Dub Corner,
whose roots-reggae soundsystem has been a pleasant
surprise in 2013.
Finally, from Territorios also want to thank the
continued support of volunteers, institutions
and sponsors, media and especially to the first
Partners of the Festival, who with their donation
to the Foundation Festival Territorios have become
pioneers of a figure who, we hope, in the coming
years will become more relevant and help Territories
to become even more independent festival. See
you in 2014!
